Joseph was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia then grew up in the Philippines and the cities of Toronto, Surrey, and Calgary. Joseph obtained his bachelor’s  degree in statistics from the University of Calgary in 2019 and his juris doctor degree from the University of Toronto in 2022.

While in law  school, Joseph was a research assistant on a child welfare project involving the compensation of Indigenous children for harms resulting from  inequitable government funding. Joseph also represented the University of Toronto at the 2022 Walsh Family Law Moot.

Prior to joining Jones  Divorce & Family Law, Joseph summered at the legal department of a medical software company, where he drafted various medical technology contracts and conducted research on topics ranging from healthcare marketing regulations to international commercial contracts. Before law, Joseph  worked in the non-profit sector conducting data science projects that addressed food insecurity in Calgary.

Joseph is passionate about family law and is excited to be articling at Jones Divorce & Family Law.
Outside of work, Joseph enjoys pursuing a variety of interests: taking cute photos of his family’s kokoni,
working out, brunching with friends, playing D&D, planning karaoke nights, and reading literary classics.
